DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Toplanning,design,constructionsandmaintenanceofS&Tequipmentandsystems;
ii. To overseer market utilization and expansion of the fibre optic cable along railwaynetwork;
iii. To install, maintain, and repair SGR/MGR signals and telecommunication networkandequipment;
iv. Totakepartinaccidentinvestigationinlinewithotherdepartments;
v. To take part in maintenance of train control, electronic warrant system, cargo/wagontracking and its management system, yard radio, underground cables and internalofficecommunications;
vi. Tocontributeonthepreparationof reports,plansanddesignsforS&Tprojects;
vii. Toprepareprojectquantityandcostestimates;
viii. Toprepareandsubmitperiodicaltechnicalreports;and
ix. Toperformanyotherrelatedduties asassignedbysupervisor.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
· HolderofFullTechnicianCertificate(FTC)OrOrdinaryDiploma in Telecommunication Engineering, or EquivalentfromRecognizedInstitution.
