DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Examining patients directed to his/her work area
ii. Maintaining radiology equipment and tools in his/her work area
iii. Inspecting X-Ray images for quality and adequacy (diagnostic quality)
iv. Storing patient images until results are delivered to the referring doctors
v. Supervising subordinates
vi. Providing advice on radiology and radiation matters in his/her work area
vii. Preparing medical/examination equipment and overseeing sterilization in his/her work area
viii. Providing preliminary training for staff assigned to his/her work area
ix. Performing other tasks assigned by his/her supervisor related to his/her education, experience, and skills
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
Employed individuals with a Diploma in Radiology Technology from a government-recognized institution, registered with the Tanzania Radiation Professionals Council.
