DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. Performing all hospital physiotherapy tasks related to various diseases including pediatric, geriatric, and all hospitalized cases.
ii. Examining the patient, planning treatment according to the patient’s condition, and monitoring the patient’s progress.
iii. Providing treatment advice and patient referrals to other health cadres based on the patient’s condition.
iv. Providing and supervising education in Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, and treatment to improve bodily and limb health in the District and Region or the workplace.
v. Offering Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) counseling for patients.
vi. Keeping records of Physiotherapy patients and people with disabilities and using them as directed by MTUHA principles.
vii. Evaluating Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation services in the workplace.
viii. Supervising and directing subordinates.
ix. Preparing plans and budget estimates for Physiotherapy services in the workplace.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy (BSc. in Physiotherapy) from Government-recognized universities, completed Internship, and obtained full registration from the Tanganyika Medical Council.
