i. Controlling and preventing disease outbreaks
ii. Combating and preventing disease-spreading insects and animals
iii. Supervising the burial of unidentified bodies and those resulting from infectious diseases
iv. Preparing various Environmental Health reports at the ward level and submitting them to relevant authorities
v. Collecting and analyzing Environmental Health statistics at the ward level and providing feedback to take appropriate action
vi. Providing environmental health education to the community
vii. Inspecting food production areas to ensure community safety and health
viii. Enforcing environmental health laws at the ward level and assisting the community in creating by-laws
ix. Mobilizing the community to improve water sources and environmental cleanliness
x. Mobilizing the community regarding the implementation of Primary Health Care services at the ward level
xi. Performing other tasks assigned by their supervisor related to their education, experience, and skills
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Employed individuals with a Diploma in Environmental Health Science from a government-recognized institution and registered with the Environmental Health Professionals Board.
REMUNERATION: Based on government salary scales.
