    The list of Youth Selected to Join the Tanzania Police Force – Police School in Moshi

    The Chief of the Police Force announces that all youths selected to join the Police Force in the country are required to report to the Police School in Moshi from December 1, 2023, to December 2, 2023, for the commencement of basic training.

    Youths who were interviewed at the Police Professional College in Dar es Salaam (DPA) and units under the Police Headquarters are required to report to Dar es Salaam at the Police Barracks near the Police Main Hospital on Kilwa Road by 12:00 AM on December 1, 2023, ready for the journey to the Police School in Moshi.

    Youths who were interviewed in the regions of mainland Tanzania must report to the Regional Police Commanders where they had their interviews by 2:00 AM on November 30, 2023, for travel arrangements to the Police School in Moshi.

    Similarly, youths who were interviewed in Zanzibar must report to the Police Headquarters in Zanzibar (Ziwani) on November 30, 2023, for travel arrangement purposes.

    Additionally, all selected youths are required to report to the Police School in Moshi with the following items: i) A blue tracksuit with white stripes, a plain white t-shirt, sneakers, black socks, two blue shorts for sports and exercises, and a blue metal trunk (Tranka). ii) A white round mosquito net (not a square one), two sets of light blue bed sheets (4 sheets total), one grey blanket without patterns, and a charcoal iron. iii) Personal hygiene items: a small broom, two small buckets, and a soft broom. iv) A Health Insurance Card (NHIF) or cash amounting to Tsh.50,400/= for those without health insurance cards. v) Original academic certificates, original JKT/JKU certificate, original birth certificate, NIDA card or National Identification number from NIDA, copies of NIDA cards or National Identification numbers of parents and close relatives (such as aunts, uncles, grandparents), 06 passport-size photos (blue background), and 5 copies of each specified certificate. vi) Pocket money for personal expenses.

    Mobile phones are not allowed in the school, so it is prohibited to report to the Police School in Moshi with a mobile phone. Anyone found with a phone will be considered indisciplined, and the penalty will be immediate expulsion from the training. The school will provide a communication protocol.

    Anyone reporting to the Police School in Moshi after December 2, 2023, will not be accepted and will be considered to have withdrawn from the training voluntarily.
