DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
i. To examine patients directed to his/her work area
ii. To maintain radiology equipment and tools in his/her work area
iii. To inspect X-Ray images for quality and adequacy (diagnostic quality)
iv. To keep patients’ images until the results reach the referring doctors
v. To supervise subordinate staff
vi. To provide advice on issues and tasks related to Radiology and Radiation in his/her work area.
vii. To prepare medical/examination equipment and oversee the sterilization of equipment in his/her work area
viii. To provide initial training for staff assigned to his/her work area.
ix. To perform other duties assigned by his/her supervisor related to his/her education, experience, and skills
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
To be employed, candidates must have a Diploma in Radiology Technology from a government-recognized institution, registered with the Tanzania Radiology Professionals Council.
